What Is Adrenal FatigueAdrenal Fatigue or Adrenal Insufficiency is when the adrenal glands function above or below the necessary levels. Your adrenal glands produce a variety of hormones that are essential to life including cortisol, adrenaline and aldosterone. These hormones help keep your metabolism, blood pressure, immune system and stress response in balance. Adrenal insufficiency refers to inadequate production of one or more of these hormones as a result of an underlying disease or surgery. Adrenal disorders can happen to anyone. Our Adrenal Fatigue Program addresses the concerns of many of our patients that feel run down. Symptoms can include body aches, fatigue, nervousness, sleep disturbances and digestive problems.

BIOIDENTICAL HORMONE REPLACEMENT THERAPY (BHRT) PELLETS

BHRT PelletAt Optimal Bio, pellets are the preferred method of hormone replacement delivery. Over the years, Optimal Bio has worked with compounding pharmaceutical companies to produce the purest pellets possible. Small pellets, roughly the size of a grain of rice, are placed in fatty tissue of the buttocks or lower back area. The pellets can deliver a dose of either testosterone for men, or testosterone/estrogen for women. Additionally, each pellet implant lasts for several months and provides a substantial and stable release of hormones into the body.
