A Season of Gratitude

A letter from our CEO, Tylar Brannon.

Grateful for the Science That Changes Lives

As we head into this season of gratitude, I keep thinking about how thankful I am for the science behind BHRT and the impact it has on helping people feel their best day to day and helping keep people healthy. Health affects everything. How we feel about ourselves, how we show up, our relationships, our work. Sometimes we forget that until we do not feel well.

Our bodies are incredible, but they need the right tools to function the way they are meant to. Most chronic illnesses, diseases, cancers, and even the signs we associate with aging are actually rooted in a lack of hormones or an imbalance of hormones. So why not give our bodies what they need naturally to feel better, enjoy life, and stay healthy.

As cliché as it may sound, we have one life. Why not try to feel our best so we can do what we want to do. When I am not feeling my best, even for a day or two, it is a reminder of how much it affects how I show up.

My Own Turning Point

Health and wellness have always mattered to me, but in 2018 everything changed. I got really sick. Daily migraines, chronic fatigue, stomach pain so severe I would lie on the floor in my office, intense brain fog, and chronic inflammation. At the end of each day, I did not know if I would even be able to walk from the elevator to my apartment.

That season forced me to dive deep. Healing my gut was the first step and it helped so much, but it did not solve everything. The fatigue and inflammation were still intense.

Then came Testosterone.

My chronic fatigue went away. My migraines became minimal. My inflammation dropped. My gut continued healing. My skin improved. Most importantly, I felt like myself again.

If I can do something natural that helps me feel good day to day, gives me energy, and protects my brain and body as I age, why would I not do it. Women get dementia at significantly higher rates than men. Hormones play a major role in protection. I want to be fully present as a CEO, a wife, a sister, a daughter, and a friend. Testosterone helps me do that.

“I heard someone describe Testosterone as the motivator. That is the best way to explain what it feels like to get your life back.”

What Getting Your Life Back Really Means

To me, getting your life back means being able to be present, to show up, and to feel like you again. We hear this from our patients every day. I feel like me again. I can sleep. My brain is clear. I feel calm.

People get so used to not feeling well that they think it is normal. It is not. And once you feel like yourself again, you cannot ignore the difference.

Hormones have more than five hundred functions in the body. Every cell has a Testosterone receptor. Of course they change everything.

A Year of Joy and Loss

This year gave me a very personal reminder of why health is foundational. I experienced one of the happiest moments of my life when I got married in June. Then one month later, I experienced one of the hardest moments of my life when my dad unexpectedly passed away.

I was driving to the church to plan his funeral while on a work call. Life does not pause. Being mentally, physically, and emotionally healthy matters more than we realize. It gives you the strength to move through the hard and the presence to fully experience the good.

Health is the foundation for everything in our lives. Hormones are the foundation of our health mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Grateful for the Team That Makes This Possible

I am incredibly thankful for our team at Optimal Bio. We are mission focused. We hire people who believe in what we do and who want to grow individually, as a team, and as a company.

We are paving the way in preventative healthcare through hormone optimization. We operate the way healthcare is meant to be. Rooted in real patient relationships.

Our team cares deeply. Our providers continuously study and collaborate. Our patient coordinators are the first and last touchpoint for our patients and keep the day running smoothly. Our business development team educates and helps people understand us before they ever walk through the door.

With ten locations, quality control matters. Trust matters. Accountability matters. Every detail matters. And I genuinely enjoy working with each person on this team.

Grateful for Our Patients

When you believe in what you do, it gives you purpose. There is nothing more meaningful than watching people feel like themselves again and finding the root cause of what is holding them back.

So many of our patients were told their symptoms were normal. But common is not normal. Providing people with true healing and prevention is a privilege and it motivates me every single day.

I will talk about hormones and Optimal Bio to anyone who will listen. Not because I need them to be a patient, though that is always a plus, but because everyone deserves to know their options. They deserve to feel good.

A Thanksgiving Reflection

As I reflect on this season, I am most thankful for my faith in God. He has given me strength and peace this year that nothing else could. I am thankful for the people around me and for my health. And professionally, I am thankful for the team, the brand, and the company we continue to build.

It is rare to look forward to work. I do, and I never take that for granted.

If you have been feeling off, tired, foggy, or not quite yourself, there is no better time than now to take that first step. This Thanksgiving, give yourself the gift of clarity, energy, and confidence. Start your journey back to you.

With so much gratitude,
Tylar
